Newport Folk Festival 2017

Newport Folk is one of the festivals we look forward to attending the most; the artist line-up is always incredible, and there are bound to be a few exciting surprise guests throughout the weekend. This year, we tapped photographer Josh Wool to help us capture the event as well as some really amazing portraits of the artists.

Here’s a little more info about Josh:

Josh Wool is a photographer based in New York City by way of the South Carolina Low Country. His work spans the advertising, music, and entertainment worlds, where he has found a niche in making classic, timeless, and intimate portraits. His work strips away all that is unnecessary, aiming to find beauty through simplicity. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire, Billboard, The Washington Post, Southern Living, Entertainment Weekly, American Songwriter, and on NPR.
